The anime will begin airing on April 6, 2024 and run for two cours, with a break between the two parts. The manga adaptation was first published in Weekly Young Jump in June 2020, written by Masafumi Sugiura and illustrated by Taiyo Kuzumi. Its popularity continues to rise, with a total of 15 volumes having been released as of June 2023.

Franchise Uma Musume Pretty Derby was first introduced as a mobile game developed by Cygames and released for iOS and Android on February 24, 2021, and then came to PC through DMM Games on March 10, 2021. This game features characters Uma Musume inspired by famous real-life racehorses, with players taking on the role of trainers who help them reach the top of the competition in the event Twinkle Series.
In addition to games, the franchise has evolved into various anime adaptations. the first season of the anime Uma Musume Pretty Derby aired in 2018, followed by season two in 2021, and the recently concluded third season in 2023.
