Ubisoft has officially announced that Battle for Brooklyn, the latest DLC for Tom Clancy's The Division 2, will be released on May 27, 2025. This DLC brings players back to New York, specifically in Brooklyn Heights and Dumbo, in a post-pandemic fall atmosphere. These areas were previously relatively peaceful, but are now threatened by groups of Cleaners and Rikers who carry a new biochemical weapon called Purple Flame.

Back to the Root of the Story
In Battle for BrooklynPlayers will undergo a linear campaign that can be played solo or co-op. The main mission is to uncover the mass production of Purple Flame and save civilians from this threat. This DLC also reintroduces the Smart Cover from The Division 1which allows players to strengthen protection, gain offensive and defensive buffs, and increase resistance to pulse.
Exclusive Gear and New Challenges
Players can earn Catalyst Exotic MaskIn addition, there are four new Control Points, 12 open-world activities, eight Hunter Riddles, and ten challenging bounty locations. Ubisoft also revealed three main focuses for Year 7 The Division 2:
- Improve the onboarding process for new players.
- Adds depth to the endgame content.

Players can add Battle for Brooklyn to wishlist starting April 24, 2025 on the Ubisoft Store. This DLC is also available on purchase The Division 2 Gold Edition and Ultimate Edition, which includes various bonuses such as expansion Warlords of New York, additional storage slots, and boost levels.
