Fizzglee Studio, a subsidiary of Tencent Games, announced its latest mobile RPG project titled Chasing Kaleidorider. This game features the concept of 3D romance RPG which focuses on the RIDER girl character and will be released for iOS and Android devices.
The game's first trailer was released on April 9, 2025 and featured the world, characters, and gameplay footage with anime-style visuals.
Futuristic World and the Conflict of Two Realities
Story Chasing Kaleidorider is set in a futuristic city called Terminus. The city is under threat due to a phenomenon called Integrationthe collision of the real world with the unconscious dimension known as the Sea of Unconsciousness. This subconscious world is formed from negative human impulses, which then give birth to a dangerous entity named Hysteria. When Hysteria came to the surface, various major anomalies occurred throughout the city.
To deal with this threat, there is a special group called Kaleido RIDER. They are girls with mysterious powers who ride futuristic motorcycles and use special weapons to fight Hysteria. However, to be able to see Hysteria clearly, they need the help of someone who has a rare power called KALEIDO VISION. The owner of this power is called Navigator.
The first trailer features a mix of CG animation and in-game footage that showcases the city of Terminus, RIDER's fighting style, and interactions between characters. In one scene, a kiss is shown between the characters Prome and the Navigator, which hints that emotional contact can trigger an increase in RIDER's power. The trailer's theme song is sung by utaite popular, 96Neko, and used to build a dramatic atmosphere in the story.
Player Role as Navigator
Players take on the role of the Navigator, an ordinary human who gains KALEIDO VISION accidentally due to an incident. After the incident, the player becomes the central character in leading the RIDERS, investigating the Integration phenomenon, and facing the Hysteria that continues to threaten the city.
In addition to the action and investigation elements, players may also be involved in personal relationships with the RIDER girls, which seems to affect both the strength and development of the story. Some scenes in the trailer show closer interactions between the characters, giving an indication that a romance path could be part of the game system.
Characters with Unique Settings
RIDER girl characters that have been introduced include Prome, Nana, UC, and Adodol. Each has a diverse identity, such as a witch, student, or rock singer. They hide their identity in society and secretly protect the city from the threat of Hysteria.
Each character has a personal background and conflicts that can be explored through interactions with the player. Relationships built over the course of the game may unlock side stories, character development, and new abilities that impact both combat and the main narrative.
Pre-Registration and Initial Trial Phase
Fizzglee Studio has opened pre-registration through official website Chasing Kaleidorider. Information regarding offline events and registration for the first trial phase has also been announced. This is the first step in introducing the game world and game system to the public, although the official release schedule has yet to be determined.
