Zenless Zone Zero is back with a big bang in version 1.7 entitled "Bury Your Tears with the Past." This version will be released on April 23, 2025, bringing an end to the Sacrifice crisis that has been a mystery, while revealing Mockingbird's enigmatic past. Story and Trailer Version 1.7
Version 1.7 brings the culminating story of Season 1, where the long-sought truth about the Sacrifice crisis is finally revealed. Players will follow the journey of the Proxies investigating Vivian's past and uncovering the mystery of Hugo's death. The conflict between Mockingbird and TOPS is heating up. The presence of Void Hunter investigators assigned by the Mayor will add tension to this journey.
Players will face off against a dark threat stalking the city of New Eridu. The latest trailer shows tension-filled moments depicting a deep crisis, with the threat of the Exaltists looming ever closer. The story creates a deep emotional experience, presenting mixed feelings of hope and sadness.
New Characters
Agent Vivian (Ether - Anomaly)
Vivian is an Ether Anomaly agent who has flexible fighting abilities with a parachute and rapier. She can attack enemies both on the ground and in the air. Her ability to increase Anomaly's damage and support the team's EX Special attacks makes her a very useful character in battle, as well as playing a key role in uncovering the Exaltists' conspiracy.
Agent Hugo (Ice - Attack)
Hugo is an ice attack agent who carries a briefcase that can transform into a sharp scythe. With a wide attack and area of effect, Hugo is very effective against groups of enemies. His skill to utilize the stun effect on enemies makes him very powerful in combat. When hitting a stunned enemy, Hugo can trigger the Totalize effect, which increases his damage based on the remaining duration of the stun. This character is a mainstay in the face of the escalating Sacrifice crisis.
Robin (Bangboo)
Robin is Mockingbird's loyal and lively friend Bangboo. By using random cards that have various effects, Robin adds variety to the team's strategy. This character offers a unique way to defeat enemies with high efficiency, making an important contribution in every battle.
