HoYoverse officially announced that Honkai: Star Rail version 3.3 titled "The Fall at Dawn's Rise" will be released globally on May 21, 2025. This update concludes the storyline of Flame-Chase Journey, where players will fight together Chrysos Heirs against a great enemy named Sky Titan (Aquila). With the addition of new characters and exciting events, this latest version is ready to bring a more exciting and challenging experience for Trailblazers.
New Characters: Hyacine and Cipher
Version 3.3 introduces two new playable 5★ characters:
- Hyacine is a Wind character with the Remembrance path. As the head doctor of the Twilight Courtyard, he is able to heal the entire team and increase Max HP through his continuous healing ability and the help of an entity named Little Ica.
- Cipher is a Quantum character with the Nihility path. He uses the mechanics of mark to target the enemy with the highest HP, record all damage taken, and then unleash a True DMG attack based on the total damage.
Both come with strong backstories and unique combat mechanics, making them interesting for players to collect.
Flame-Chase Journey Final Battle
The main story in this update centers on the final conflict between Chrysos Heirs and Sky Titan-the legendary hundred-eyed creature that rules the cycle of dawn and dusk. Players will embark on an action-packed and emotionally charged quest to complete the long journey of Flame-Chase which has been going on since the previous version.
In addition, a new mode called Echo of War: Glance of Twilight will be available, offering new challenges and exciting rewards for players ready to test their strategy skills.
New Events and the Return of Favorite Characters
Version 3.3 also features a number of special events, such as Penacony Speed Cup, an action-packed Spheroid racing tournament, as well as the release of the mini game Legend of the Galactic Baseballer: Demon King. This activity provides new gameplay variations as well as great prizes to collect.
In addition to new characters, two old 5★ characters, The Herta and AglaeaIt will return through a limited warp event, giving a new chance to players who don't have it yet.
Honkai: Star Rail is available on PC, Android, iOS, Epic Games Store, and PlayStation 5. The game has recorded over 150 million downloads and received various prestigious awards from Apple, Google Play, and The Game Awards.
