Pony Canyon announced that the manga Kaiju Girl Caramelise by Spica Aoki gets an adaptation anime television. This announcement was accompanied by the release of a visual teaser and the first promotional video. The anime is scheduled to air in 2026.
Kaiju Girl Caramelise Story and Trailer
The story focuses on Kuroe Akaishi, a high school student who suffers from a mysterious illness. She has always avoided others due to her clumsiness in social situations. However, one fateful encounter makes her fall in love with Arata Minami, the most popular student in her class.
When Kuroe realizes his feelings, the latent power within him awakens. A battle between love and reason ensues. This is a story that breaks the conventions of ordinary shoujo manga.
The promotional video released shows a glimpse of the visuals of this adaptation.
Spica Aoki also drew a special illustration to celebrate the anime announcement.

About Kaiju Girl Caramelise Manga
Spica Aoki launched this manga in the magazine Monthly Comic Alive by Kadokawa in 2018. This manga is still in ongoing status until now. Kadokawa will deliver the ninth volume compilation book on December 23.
The series has more than 230,000 copies in circulation. Yen Press publishes the manga in English and released the eighth volume on October 28.
