QQQbeats!!! is game TAITO's latest rhythmic puzzle game will be released digitally for Nintendo Switch in Fall 2025 in Japan. QQQQbeats!!! is an original title that blends two popular genres: bubble shooter and rhythm game. The controls used are intuitive and easy to understand. Players simply need to match three or more bubbles of the same color to eliminate them. When you eliminate a large number of bubbles, the game switches to rhythm mode where you have to press buttons to the beat of the song.
The transition between puzzle and rhythm is at the core of the gaming experience. The game supports both solo and multiplayer play for two people, both offline and online. To play online, a Nintendo Switch Online subscription is required. Game modes can be competitive or cooperative.
Original Stories and Streamer Characters
In addition to the energetic gameplay, QQQQbeats!!! also features a full voice story mode. The story focuses on the two main characters, Shiina and Ame, who are members of a game streamer unit called Papikkoro. After experiencing an online incident and going on hiatus, they return to the streaming world, which is where their adventures in the game begin.
Throughout the story, players will follow their journey in various locations, meet new characters, and witness how they grow amidst the challenges of the digital community.
Popular Character Collaboration at QQQbeats!!!
This game features a variety of characters with different play styles and abilities. In addition to the original characters, QQQQbeats!!! also features collaborations with famous characters that can be played right from the start.
Names such as Hatsune Miku, Kasane Teto, Shirakami Fubuki, Mori Calliope, Hakurei Reimu, and Kirisame Marisa have joined the game. This collaboration is an attraction for Vocaloid, VTuber, and Touhou fans.
A Selection of Songs from Various Genres
As a rhythm game, QQQQbeats!!! will feature around 55 songs upon release. The song selection covers a wide range of popular genres, from anime songs, pop, songs from virtual singers and VTubers, to Touhou arrangements. This diversity allows players to choose songs that suit their tastes and challenges.

TAITO organized a special campaign to celebrate the announcement of this game.
From July 11 to 15, 2025, users can follow the official X/Twitter account QQQbeats!!!【キュキュビーツ公式】 and repost the specified post to enter the daily draw. Each account can participate once per day, up to a maximum of six times during the campaign period.
The prize provided is an original QUO Card Pay themed on QQQQbeats!!!The prize is worth 1,000 yen for 30 winners, and 5,000 yen for 6 winners. More details are available on the official website.
Global Release and Access
QQQQbeats!!! is currently only confirmed to be released in Japan. The game is scheduled to arrive in Fall 2025 as a digital-only title for Nintendo Switch, priced at 5,800 yen (tax included). TAITO has not announced any international release plans. All promotional materials, including the official website and trailer, are available in Japanese.
But since the game supports online multiplayer and features popular globally recognized characters, it is possible that it will attract players outside of Japan. If you're outside of Japan and are interested in playing this game, accessing it through your Japanese Nintendo account could be an alternative.
