Player Protection Update
Ubisoft continues to demonstrate its commitment to maintaining a fair and safe gaming environment at Rainbow Six Siege. In Operation Collision Point, the anticheat system gets a major update, including the detection of cheater more sophisticated.
Some of the new measures to improve player protection include:
- If a cheating player is found, the match will be canceled immediately without affecting the MMR of other players.
- Mousetrap Penalty: Console cheaters will be moved to PC matchmaking pool for 90 days. They cannot play if they turn off the crossplay.
These measures reflect Ubisoft's efforts to keep the community safe from cheaters.
Crossplay: Play Together Without Boundaries
Features crossplay is now here, allowing players from different platforms to play together.
Rules that apply to crossplay includes:
- Teams with PC players will automatically enter PC matchmaking pool.
- Players Ranked has separate ratings between console and PC.
- PC players cannot join console matchmaking pool.

Blackbeard Operator Remaster
Blackbeard is getting a major update with his new gadget, H.U.L.L. Adaptable Shield.
This gadget has some unique capabilities:

- Allows Blackbeard to penetrate the wall while remaining protected.
- Opens up new lines of attack with greater strategic flexibility.
In addition to the updated gadgets, Blackbeard still carries a deadly arsenal:
- Main weapon: MK17 CQB or SR-25
- Secondary weapon: D-50
With these gadgets and weapons, Blackbeard is an interesting choice to create pressure on the opposing team.
Gameplay Updates and New Competitions
Operation Collision Point brings a variety of gameplay customizations and competitive features, including:
Operator with Ballistic Shields
- Adjustment of the number of bullets to suppress operators with shields, allowing for faster suppression.
- Operators will not take damage from melee attacks when using a shield, but guard break intensity remains the same.
Changes in Ying and Sens
- Ying now has a more accurate rush mechanic, favoring strategic play.
- Sens gets an update on the R.O.U. Projector, allowing for more flexible and creative play.
In addition, there were also Siege Cup Beta, tournament-based mode ladder which is available to players with Clearance Level 50 and above.
This competition feature offers:
- Format 5 players in a team.
- Gifts in the form of Competitive Coins which can be used to unlock exclusive skins every two weeks.

Other supporting features include:
- Reputation Center: Provide greater transparency on how player actions affect reputation.
- Career Hub: Stores account data such as rank, reputation, and match replay. Additional statistics will be coming in the next update.
