This game is set in the 19th century, long before Harry Potter was born. Our character is a Hogwarts student who has the key to an ancient secret that threatens to destroy the wizarding world.
This game offers an immersive and open-ended experience, meaning that we can freely explore various places in the wizarding world, such as Hogwarts, Hogsmeade, the Forbidden Forest, and beyond.
Players can also choose our own house at Hogwarts, learn spells, brew potions, grow magical plants, and care for magical creatures along our journey.
You'll also have to face challenges and enemies such as trolls, dark wizards, goblins, and others. And of course we have to uncover the ancient secrets that are at the heart of this game's story.
This game is perfect for Potter Head who want to experience the thrill of being a witch or wizard in the 19th century a la Harry Potter.

That's enough introduction to the Hogwarts Legacy game. Now, I'd like to share my experience of playing this game. To be honest, I am so into this game. Really love it! WHY?! Here's why, but I can't deny that this game also has some flaws, yes.
Hogwarts Legacy Game Story
The story takes place from the player's perspective. The player (whoever they want to be) will be the central character who carries the power of ancient magic. Now, this power will be used to fight against villain the main Goblin named Ranrok.

Here the player character will immediately jump to become a Hogwarts student / student in the 5th year brought by Professor Fig. Professor Fig is aware of our abilities as wizard, finally recommends the player character to attend Hogwarts straight into the 5th school year.

Let's move on to the storyline! Now that the player character has been accepted into Hogwarts, it's straightforward to deh trouble begins! At the beginning of the scene on the way to Hogwarts, we are attacked by a dragon that has been bewitched with black magic.
Not without reason, the dragon attacks because it turns out that we can open an ancient magic object that Ranrok is after. This is where Ranrok starts hunting players and is obsessed with capturing us.
In addition to these magic items, players will also find a secret room that can only be opened with the power of ancient magic.
Luckily, we have that power from the start, and in the room we meet four professors from the olden days through large paintings that can move and communicate with the player.

So, we'll talk to the professors in the painting. Now, since the player has the power of ancient magic, but the power is not yet ready/perfect, the four professors in the painting give a special test/challenge. The player must complete all the challenges from each professor in the painting.
Then the exciting adventure begins! If all the tests are completed, we can then face Ranrok. Broadly speaking heck the story is very straightforward. There's not even plotwist at all. The point is that the story in Hogwarts Legacy, in my opinion, is relatively flat and ordinary.
