NetEase Games and ZhuRong Studio officially launched their latest game, Sword of Justice, for the global market on November 7, 2025. This Massively Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Game (MMORPG) with an oriental fantasy theme is now available to play on PC and mobile platforms, both Android and iOS.

The launch in the Southeast Asia region is marked by a collaboration with popular actress Baifern, who will host a special video series for the game.

Collaboration with Baifern Actress

For the launch in Southeast Asia, NetEase Games appointed renowned actress and model Baifern as the face of Sword of Justice. In the collaboration, Baifern will portray one of the important characters in the game named Ye Xueqing. Her role will not only be limited to promotion, but also to bring the character to life through a video series, introducing the world of Sword of Justice to players.

The appointment of this widely recognized public figure in Southeast Asia is a strategy to bring the game closer to the local audience. Ye Xueqing's own character is described as having a complex personality, and Baifern will showcase her in various sides, ranging from the gentle to the tougher side.

A Living World Thanks to AI Technology

One of the technical aspects introduced in Sword of Justice is the use of artificial intelligence (AI) technology to create a more dynamic world. The Non-Player Character (The NPCs in this game are designed to remember the interactions they have had with your character. This means that NPCs can respond differently depending on the actions you've previously taken.

This aims to provide a more personalized gaming experience, where every choice you make can shape your own storyline. AI technology is also applied to the character customization system. The game provides more than 300 parameters that can be set, but there's an interesting feature where you can simply upload a photo, and the AI will try to generate a similar character.

Fair Gameplay Without Pay-to-Win

Sword of Justice features a business model free-to-play, This means that the game can be downloaded and played for free. Its developers emphasize that the game is designed to create a fair playing environment and does not focus on pay-to-win. Through a system called “Converging Paths”, all players, both casual and competitive, will receive the same core rewards.

Character progress is based entirely on gameplay and activities performed in the game. To maintain balance, there are strict attribute limits and a seasonal reset system, ensuring all players have an equal chance to improve each season.

Set in a world inspired by 12th-century China, this game takes players on an adventure through a fantasy martial arts universe. Aside from fighting monsters or other players, you're also given the freedom to take on other roles. For example, you can be a craftsman who focuses on crafting powerful items, or a socialite who builds influence through interaction.

Diversity of choice gameplay This allows each player to find a way of playing that best suits their style. With language support that includes Bahasa Indonesia, Thai, English and several other Asian languages, the game is expected to be accessible to more players in the region.
