After its debut in South Korea in 2024 through Naver SERIES, Moon Shark webtoon has attracted more than 830,000 views, with 818,000 views coming from Cocoa Page. This initial popularity led to its launch into the international market.
In Japan, this series is available through LINE Manga. While in South Korea, it is now available on 11 digital platforms, including Naver SERIES, Cocoa Page, and Ridi.

Production and Expansion
Moon Shark Webtoon is a collaboration between The Pinkfong Company and M Story Hub, a studio that is also known as the creator of webtoon popular The Remarried Empress. Pinkfong acted as co-producer and global expansion lead for this title, including expansion into audiovisual formats and product sales.
This webtoon is written by Sinsaebyeok, Gimeuntto, and Dattoi, with illustration by SSOM. The expressive and dynamic drawing style supports a modern narrative that touches on themes of social transformation and the search for identity.
In addition to media expansion, Pinkfong has also started selling official themed merchandise Moon Shark via YouTube Shopping and their online store, targeting a female audience of 10-20 years old. Long-term plans also include the release of additional animated videos throughout the year.
