Developer Shift Up has officially confirmed that it is developing a sequel to Stellar Blade, the action-RPG game that came exclusively to PlayStation 5, but will be released on PC in the very near future. According to Eurogamer<\/a>The title of the game's sequel is currently still referred to as Stellar Blade 2.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This information was first revealed through an investor report released by Shift Up on May 16, 2025. In the document, there are two important points, namely \"Platform Expansion\" and \"Sequel\". This description is strong evidence that this South Korean studio is indeed preparing Stellar Blade 2<\/em>It's also a plan to release the first game to new platforms such as PC.<\/p>\n\n\n

Release Platform<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Unlike the first game that only came to PlayStation 5, this sequel is predicted to be released multiplatform. One of the main reasons is that there is no confirmation of financial support from Sony for this sequel project. This means that Shift Up will most likely open up the opportunity to release this game on Xbox Series X|S and PC, reaching more gamers globally.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Although there is no official date yet, Stellar Blade 2's position in Shift Up's internal plan chart shows that the game is targeted for release before 2027. If we go by the industry-standard development cycle, it's highly likely that the game will release in 2026-two years after the first game launches.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
