In the lawsuit document, Sony highlights the similarities in gameplay, story themes, and artistic elements that are considered very identical to the game. <em>Horizon<\/em>. In fact, some game journalists call <em>Light of Motiram<\/em> as \"Horizon Zero Originality\", emphasizing that the similarities are not mere coincidence. Sony considers that this resemblance goes beyond the boundaries of inspiration and has fallen into the category of commercially and reputationally damaging plagiarism.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The lawsuit also revealed the interesting fact that in 2024, Tencent had offered a collaboration to Sony to develop a new game in the series <em>Horizon<\/em>. However, Sony rejected the offer. Not long after the rejection, Tencent announced <em>Light of Motiram<\/em>, which immediately drew criticism for its similarity to <em>Horizon<\/em>. This raises questions about the consistency of Sony's stance on the game, especially between headquarters and the regions.
