Zhong Kui used to be an ordinary person with good knowledge and intelligence, but had a less beautiful face. When the time came for Zhong Kui to take the imperial civil service examination, Zhong Kui got the highest score and was worthy of a good position.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1641\" height=\"1080\" src=\"https:\/\/playeatsleep.fun\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/img_art_concept_1.69bfd621.webp\" alt=\"Black Myth: Zhong Kui (Game Science)\" class=\"wp-image-13050\"\/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Black Myth: Zhong Kui (Game Science)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>However, all that changed when the imperial officials felt that Zhong Kui's paras would bring shame to the kingdom, so Zhong Kui was removed from his position after a vote. This made Zhong Kui feel very disappointed, so he committed suicide and entered the hell realm. The king of the hell realm also saw Zhong Kui as the right person to hunt down evil spirits and calm the spirit realm, so Zhong Kui was resurrected and given power.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Mengapa_Zhong_Kui\"><\/span><strong>Why Zhong Kui?<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Game Science has publicly stated that Zhong Kui was chosen as a sequel that will provide a different gaming experience. Looking at a glimpse of the character's story itself, we can certainly expect a wide variety of powers that gamers can exercise. It's undeniable that Wukong's success is supported by a story that is ingrained not only in China itself, but also around the world.
