The demo available at TGS 2025 gave us a clear picture of the main activity, which is exploration. We started our adventure from our home planet, then flew into space to visit other planets nearby.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The exploration mechanic feels intuitive. We were able to make marks to guide us to our destination planet, a feature that greatly aided navigation in the vast vacuum of space. However, we did find one small caveat. When we wanted to go back, there were no markers or directions to return to our home planet. While it's not that far away, the lack of maps and markers makes the return trip feel a little longer and potentially confusing for new players. The tempo of the game feels slow, a design decision that we feel is in line with the genre. <em>cozy<\/em> that it carries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Mengenal_Dunia_dan_Cerita_I_NEED_SPACE\"><\/span>Get to know the world and story of I NEED SPACE<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>After trying out the demo, we delved into the information shared by the developer. I NEED SPACE positions itself as a game of <em>2D Open-Space Exploration<\/em> which is rich in atmosphere and narrative.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The story centers on the journey of a Space Traveler and his loyal companion, Cosmicat, an adorable nebula creature. Their mission is a noble one, exploring the sea of stars to save the universe from a mysterious plague called Celestial Pandemic. The game promises a vast world to explore, divided into seven unique sectors full of space activities. The world is designed as <em>open-world Playground<\/em> which is <em>physics-based<\/em>, giving players more freedom to experiment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition to exploration, the gameplay will also feature memorable characters, each with their own unique personality. <em>quest line<\/em> which is meaningful. Players can also revitalize and manage their home planet and its NPCs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition, there is a complete customization feature for clothing, vehicles, and even traveling companions. One of the most interesting mechanics is the ability to design, upload, and show off your own star constellations, adding a deeply personal touch to the experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Potensi_dan_Status_Pengembangan\"><\/span>Development Potential and Status<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Overall, I NEED SPACE shows enormous potential to be a solid game in its genre. As <em>project<\/em> From an Indonesian developer who made it to the international stage at Tokyo Game Show, this game deserves appreciation and support. Keep in mind that this game is still in the active development stage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As of this writing, Khayalan Arts has yet to announce an official release date.
