The game is positioned as the spiritual successor of <em>GTR2<\/em> a game that is often regarded as one of the best racing sims of all time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>PMR's main goal is to bring back the hardcore physics that are missing in modern racing titles, while still offering stunning visuals. This is somewhat unique in terms of riding in the game. But overall it is more stable when going faster. This engine is famously used in the <em>Farming Simulator<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Why GIANTS Engine?<\/strong> As strange as it may sound, this decision was based on technical optimization:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Frame Rate Stability:<\/strong> Racing sims require stable high FPS, something that UE5 sometimes struggles to achieve on a dense grid of cars.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Custom Physics:<\/strong> Straight4 didn't use GIANTS' built-in physics.
