Studio GEKKOU is in charge of the animation production. Previously, <em>project<\/em> this was first announced in October 2025. Video <em>teaser<\/em> The newly released promotion shows visual footage and introduces the main characters that will appear in the story.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The story in this series centers on a hero named Luck. He makes the tough choice to hold off the demon horde alone so that his comrades can escape safely. The fight that should have been the end for him instead lasted for ten years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Thanks to a combination of luck, skill, and ingenuity, Luck managed to survive and come out as the sole winner. The anime I Became a Legend After My 10 Year-Long Last Stand will follow Luck's journey as he returns to the world. The original story was first published on <em>Shosetsuka ni Naro<\/em> from June 2018 to January 2021. SB Creative then took over its publishing under the GA Novel label from February 2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition to novels, the series also received a manga adaptation by Chako Abeno with story composition by Kitsune Tennoji. The manga began to be published on the <em>Manga UP!<\/em> Square Enix in August 2019.
