This secret fictional organization is tasked with securing anomalous phenomena with the motto <em>Secure, Contain, Protect<\/em>. They capture and detain entities that violate natural laws so that the general public can live a normal life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Entity in <em>the complicated lore<\/em> are classified based on the difficulty of their containment. There are classes <em>Safe<\/em> (easy to hold), <em>Euclid<\/em> (unpredictable), and <em>Keter<\/em> (extremely difficult to contain and dangerous). Popular examples include SCP-173 (a statue that moves when not seen) and SCP-096 (a creature that goes berserk if its face is seen).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The influence of SCP in the modern entertainment industry is huge, especially in the industry of <em>video games<\/em>. Big titles like <a href=\"https:\/\/store.steampowered.com\/app\/870780\/Control_Ultimate_Edition\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\"><em>Control<\/em> (2019)<\/a> from <a href=\"https:\/\/wccftech.com\/control-e3-2018-interview-game-director\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">Remedy Entertainment<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/store.steampowered.com\/app\/568220\/Lobotomy_Corporation__Monster_Management_Simulation\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\"><em>Lobotomy Corporation<\/em> (2018)<\/a> of Project Moon openly admits to taking inspiration from the SCP Foundation concept.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>All content in <em>franchise<\/em> is released under a Creative Commons license (CC-BY-SA). The story follows two siblings, Matthew Vestergaard and Jane Vestergaard.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Jane Vestergaard is a young researcher at the secret facility. She realizes the danger and tries to warn her superiors of the potential <em>containment breach<\/em>. Unfortunately, the warning came too late.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On the other hand, Matthew Vestergaard is an accountant working on the outskirts of the facility. He is completely unaware of the secret activities going on inside the building where his sister works. When disaster strikes, Matthew decides to enter the facility to save Jane.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This storyline offers a unique perspective.
