The experience begins after she meets Ibuki Tonami, a dormitory supervisor who loves alcohol but dislikes drinking in public.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The anime focuses on their friendship while trying different types of drinks. He left behind a wine collection worth more than 12 billion yen, and set specific conditions in his will to determine who would receive the collection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The challenge requires the heir to identify twelve selected wines called \u201cThe Twelve Apostles\u201d and one other wine called \u201cThe Drops of God\u201d. The competition pits Shizuku, Yutaka's son who has never drunk wine, against Issei Tomine, a young wine critic newly adopted as a child.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This anime puts wine at the center of conflict and rivalry. The menu choices show that the story highlights sweet foods, savory foods, and the experience of tasting familiar dishes in Japanese food culture.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This anime most directly makes food the centerpiece of the character experience.
