The teaser confirms that the movie is set in 1949. That means the story takes place two years after the events in Godzilla Minus One.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This time setting is the main information from the first teaser. Since the official synopsis has yet to be revealed, the year 1949 is the clearest marker of the movie's position in the story's timeline.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>TOHO has also not announced the cast list or character details. In North America, the movie will be released on November 6, 2026 by GKIDS and TOHO.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This moment marks the first time that a Japanese-produced Godzilla film series has been shown in Japan and North America in the same week. This detail marks a closer distribution pattern between the domestic and international markets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>TOHO and GKIDS also mentioned that additional international release dates will be announced later.
