Quoted from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gematsu.com\/2026\/05\/steinsgate-reboot-launches-august-20-for-ps5-xbox-series-switch-2-ps4-switch-and-pc\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">Gematsu<\/a>, a visual novel from the series <em>Science Adventure<\/em> will be released on August 20, 2026 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam. This announcement is notable because the game will also support English, Japanese, Traditional Chinese, and Simplified Chinese subtitles, while the audio remains in Japanese.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Although a Western release date has not been officially announced, the English language support in the Japanese version opens up the possibility that global players could enjoy the game in the not too distant future from the Japanese schedule. Rintaro's cell phone mechanic is again an important part of the gameplay, as decisions made through the device can affect the storyline and ending.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The game has an estimated playtime of around 30 to 50 hours. The Switch 2 version is said to use a full game card.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Meanwhile, the digital version will be available for PS5, Xbox Series, Switch 2, PS4, Switch, and PC.
