According to The Verge, Microsoft began informing employees of the new policy this week. However, for employees who still want to access Xbox Game Pass, they can subscribe for 12 months at a discounted price. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to The Verge, Spencer apologized for the confusion and stated that there will be no changes to the availability of Game Pass for employees.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In other Microsoft news, the company recently announced that it will be raising prices for the Xbox Game Pass<\/a> and Game Pass Ultimate. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the United States, Game Pass will increase by $1 to $11 per month, and Game Pass Ultimate will increase by $2 to $17 per month.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
