Bisa! Tapi berbeda. <em>The Blood of Dawnwalker<\/em> menjadi titel yang tidak bisa saya lewatkan, karena dikembangkan oleh Rebel Wolves, studio yang didirikan para mantan <em>developer<\/em> <em>The Witcher 3<\/em>. Jujur saja, ekspektasi saya tidak terlalu tinggi maupun rendah. Saya lebih berharap bisa kembali merasakan paket pengalaman <em>gaming<\/em> yang lengkap dan kaya seperti <em>The Witcher 3<\/em> dulu.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Setelah melewati <em>deadline<\/em> <em>in-game<\/em>-nya (ya, game ini punya tenggat waktu) dan meraih 100% <em>achievement<\/em> Steam, saya siap menutup babak ini dengan kesan: bagus, familiar, banyak catatan. Tiga <em>playthrough<\/em> dengan tingkat kesulitan berbeda membuat saya cukup terkesan dengan hasil kerja Rebel Wolves, meski ternyata ada beberapa hal yang menurut saya perlu dikritisi secara objektif.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Terutama soal waktu. Pemain tetap bisa bereksplorasi seperti biasa setelah <em>deadline<\/em> terlewati. Buat Anda yang baru akan memainkannya, <em>The Blood of Dawnwalker<\/em> terbilang kontroversial karena satu quest utama yang selalu membayangi: 30 hari menuju\u2026 (tanpa <em>spoiler<\/em> dulu, ya). Awalnya saya pikir tenggat ini agak <em>counter-intuitive<\/em>, bertolak belakang dengan keinginan untuk menikmati game dengan santai. Pasalnya, saya mungkin salah satu dari sekian banyak gamer yang tidak suka mengulang <em>playthrough<\/em> yang sama hanya untuk menjelajahi sesuatu yang baru (ironis, mengingat akhirnya saya menamatkannya tiga kali). Pikir saya: &#8220;Biasanya batas waktu itu ada di side quest, bukan quest utama. Lah, ini?&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Sebenarnya 30 hari <em>in-game<\/em> ini tidak akan jadi masalah besar kalau tidak terkait dengan &#8220;kurs&#8221; dari tiap quest. Hampir setiap aksi akan memakan sebagian dari hari tersebut (satu hari penuh terbagi menjadi beberapa segmen). Alhasil, semakin liar kita bereksplorasi, semakin cepat pula waktunya habis. Kesan saya pribadi <em>mixed<\/em>, karena fitur ini terasa seperti ada hanya untuk menciptakan rasa urgensi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Mekanisme ini makin terasa aneh setelah saya tahu bahwa tidak banyak quest yang otomatis gagal saat <em>deadline<\/em> terlewati. Kalau begitu, menurut saya sistem tenggat ini tidak perlu diterapkan sama sekali. Cukup buat progresi antar <em>mini-boss<\/em> saling terhubung, dengan <em>final boss<\/em> yang baru bisa dicapai setelah semua <em>mini-boss<\/em> dikalahkan. Hasilnya, setiap <em>mini-boss<\/em> yang menjadi pengikut sang <em>final boss<\/em> bisa dikembangkan jadi lebih signifikan, dan <em>final boss<\/em> pun tidak terasa trivial. Jangan salah, pertarungan melawan tiap <em>mini-boss<\/em> ini menarik dan tidak repetitif. Justru itu yang membuat saya berharap quest utama menuju tiap <em>mini-boss<\/em> bisa dieksplorasi lebih dalam.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Mekanik_manusia_pada_siang_hari_dan_vampir_pada_malam_hari\"><\/span><strong>Mekanik manusia pada siang hari, dan vampir pada malam hari<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"2560\" height=\"1440\" src=\"https:\/\/playeatsleep.fun\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/10\/20260906161249_1.webp\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-21566\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Terlepas dari tenggat waktunya, saya cukup menyukai konsep siang dan malam yang disajikan <em>The Blood of Dawnwalker<\/em>. Coen disebut sebagai &#8220;Dawnwalker&#8221;, yang berarti ia menjadi manusia pada siang hari dan sejenis &#8220;vampir&#8221; pada malam hari, dengan kekuatan yang berbeda pula. Saya menikmati dua <em>build<\/em> utama yang saya gunakan: <em>build witchcraft<\/em> untuk siang hari dan <em>build<\/em> vampir berbasis cakar untuk malam hari. Dengan fokus yang tepat dan jeli membaca deskripsi skill, potensi <em>damage<\/em> yang dihasilkan memuaskan. Namun, di tingkat kesulitan selain Duelist, indikator arah serangan membuat skill pertahanan terasa tidak begitu penting. Baru saat saya memainkan tingkat kesulitan Duelist yang tanpa indikator, investasi pada skill pertahanan menjadi krusial, dan justru di situlah serunya.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Meski begitu, perlu diketahui bahwa inti <em>combat<\/em> game ini tetap berkisar pada <em>swordplay<\/em>. Skill yang bisa kita gunakan sangat bergantung pada semacam <em>ability bar<\/em> yang terisi lewat serangan maupun <em>parry<\/em>. Sayangnya, <em>ability bar<\/em> ini terisi sangat lambat lewat serangan biasa, sehingga <em>parry<\/em> menjadi andalan utama untuk mengisinya. Yah, beberapa skill aktif memang perlu dibatasi karena akan terlalu <em>overpowered<\/em> jika dibiarkan tanpa <em>cost<\/em>. Untungnya, selama rajin menyelesaikan quest utama maupun side quest, saya mendapatkan poin skill yang memadai untuk membuat Coen jauh lebih kuat, terutama di <em>mid game<\/em> hingga <em>late game<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Saya rasa <em>swordplay<\/em> ini bisa terasa membosankan bagi sebagian orang, terutama mereka yang mengharapkan sesuatu seperti sistem Signs di <em>The Witcher 3<\/em>. Catatan saya yang lain adalah batasan skill yang bisa dipakai. Jumlah skill yang bisa diaktifkan dibatasi, baik skill aktif maupun pasif, sehingga kita harus memilih mana yang ingin digunakan (skill yang tidak diaktifkan tidak bisa dipakai sama sekali). Di atas itu, skill aktif masih harus berebut empat slot <em>quick cast<\/em>. Dua lapis batasan ini cukup membingungkan. Sebaiknya <em>developer<\/em> memilih salah satu: membatasi jumlah skill yang bisa diaktifkan, atau membatasi slot <em>quick cast<\/em> saja dan membebaskan pilihan skill-nya.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Vale_Sangora_Alternatif_worth_it_The_Witcher\"><\/span><strong>Vale Sangora: Alternatif worth it <em>The Witcher<\/em>?<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"2560\" height=\"1440\" src=\"https:\/\/playeatsleep.fun\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/10\/20260906204843_1.webp\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-21565\"\/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">In-Game Screenshot<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Di luar urusan <em>combat<\/em>, cerita <em>The Blood of Dawnwalker<\/em> layak diacungi jempol. Saya sudah melihat banyak cerita yang berkutat seputar zombi dan vampir, tapi game ini tetap menyajikannya dengan istilah yang unik dan karakter sampingan yang <em>memorable<\/em>. <em>Setting<\/em>-nya juga mudah dipahami: Eropa abad ke-14, ketika Wabah Hitam mengancam nyawa banyak orang. Uniknya, wabah ini bisa ditekan oleh darah vampir, makhluk yang menjadi musuh utama game ini. Banyak dokumen dan detail dunianya terlihat dipikirkan dengan matang, meski belum sedalam <em>The Witcher 3<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Beberapa <em>reviewer<\/em> berpendapat bahwa keputusan pemain tidak terlalu memengaruhi struktur quest, dan untuk yang satu ini saya cukup setuju. Dari tiga <em>playthrough<\/em>, bahkan side quest dengan karakter sampingan yang krusial pun jarang menawarkan pilihan dialog yang benar-benar mengubah jalan cerita. Seingat saya, hasilnya tak jauh dari dua kemungkinan: kita membunuh orang tersebut dan quest gagal, atau quest berhasil dan membuka jalan <em>romance<\/em>. Itu saja. Lagi-lagi, ini menciptakan jarak dengan <em>The Witcher 3<\/em>, yang keputusan-keputusannya bisa mengubah hidup para karakter di dalamnya, bukan sekadar soal hidup atau mati.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Di sisi lain, Vale Sangora tetap terasa hidup dan realistis, dengan side quest yang tidak sedikit untuk mengisi 30 hari tersebut. Dari sisi teknis, saya juga tidak menemukan masalah berarti di PC saya. Keluhan soal bug dan penurunan performa yang sempat diangkat sejumlah kritikus sama sekali tidak saya alami. Tidak ada bug yang <em>gamebreaking<\/em>, dan performanya stabil dari awal hingga akhir.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Kesimpulan\"><\/span><strong>Kesimpulan<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Jadi, apakah <em>The Blood of Dawnwalker<\/em> adalah game yang <em>worthy<\/em> untuk menjaga kredibilitas para mantan <em>developer<\/em> <em>The Witcher 3<\/em>? Bisa dibilang iya, dengan beberapa catatan. Ceritanya membawa nuansa familiar seputar vampir dengan sedikit <em>twist<\/em> di sana-sini, namun tetap tampil sebagai karya orisinal berkat mekanisme dan karakter utamanya. Sayangnya, polemik tenggat 30 hari dan pilihan-pilihan di dalamnya belum benar-benar mengikat, sehingga game ini sedikit banyak terasa linear meski dunianya <em>open world<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Untuk sebuah studio baru yang diisi para veteran, saya antusias menunggu sekuel maupun <em>update<\/em> terbaru dari <em>The Blood of Dawnwalker<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3
