SEGA and Two Point Studios have officially announced "Rides & Relics" as the fourth paid DLC for Two Point Museum. This DLC is scheduled for release on Thursday, October 8, 2026, for PC, Xbox Series X|S, and PS5. The Nintendo Switch 2 version will follow, but a release date has not yet been announced.

Rides & Relics brings the theme park experience to this management simulator game. In this DLC, you can build custom roller coasters, install rides, and manage a new museum called Riquetti Gardens.

Five types of custom coasters

The main feature of Rides & Relics is the custom coaster. According to Two Point Studios Official FAQ, you can adjust the height, tilt, and camber of each section of the track. You can also place coaster supports one by one, add chains and boosters, and install decorative items.

There are five types of roller coasters, and each type has its own characteristics. The Monobeast Monorail is designed for visitors who aren’t big fans of extreme rides, while steel coasters feature loops and inversions. The developers explained that not all types of roller coasters can incorporate loops. For example, the Steeple Chase cannot use a chain lift and must use a boost rail instead.

Since the roller coaster is being built on museum grounds, you also need to make sure the track doesn’t collide with fragile artifacts.

Riquetti Gardens, the largest museum to date

In this DLC, players work with a new expert type called the Funfair Expert. Their task is to reopen Two Point County’s old amusement park in Riquetti Gardens, a location that, according to the developers, has long been abandoned.

According to Two Point Studios, Riquetti Gardens is the largest museum location in Two Point Museum, with an area of 45,136 square meters, 11,284 tiles, and 6 plots. By comparison, Undee Docks from the Arty-Facts DLC covers an area of 42,440 square meters. This location comes with a five-star campaign consisting of five acts.

The "Rides & Relics" campaign becomes available after you complete Act 1 in Memento Mile, the game’s first city. This content is also immediately available in sandbox mode from the start of the game.

Mascots, expeditions, and museum-themed attractions

Museum assistants can now be dressed up as mascots to entertain visitors waiting in line for rides. This DLC also introduces more than ten new mascots scattered across various expeditions.

The new expedition map takes experts to Gearbox Fairgrounds, an old, abandoned amusement park. There, players can find new blueprints and perks. In total, there are more than 15 Funfair Exhibits, including Antique Amusements.

The developer notes that some rides are tied to existing museum themes. For example, the Carousel has the “Wildlife Ride” trait, which boosts visitors’ Buzz for Wildlife Exhibits, and the animals on the Carousel are taken from the Zooseum DLC. There’s also the Magnetic Enlightener, which falls under the “Science Ride” category. According to the developers, the design of Riquetti Gardens was inspired by amusement park museums in the UK and Europe, featuring cream and green colors and a vintage look.

This DLC also adds new items to the Gift Shop, funfair-themed decorations, hedges, fences, and utility items such as a helipad, ticket desk, benches, and trash cans. In addition, there are five new achievements.

Free content via Update 12.0

Players who don’t purchase the DLC can still try out some of its content. Update 12.0 will be available starting October 1, 2026, on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S. This update includes the first five Points of Interest on the new expedition map, the first plot of Riquetti Gardens, and the campaign up to the first star, including the Monobeast Monorail.

Two Point Studios has confirmed that this content is not a demo. Everything you unlock in the free section will remain part of the base game. Update 12.0 also adds more than ten mascots to the base game, new outdoor items, an "External Walls" tab, and various bug fixes and optimizations.

Release schedule and platforms

Rides & Relics will be released on October 8, 2026. This DLC is available on PC via Steam (including SteamOS, Windows, Mac, and Linux) and the Epic Games Store, as well as on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S.

Regarding the Nintendo Switch 2 version, the developer stated that the patch is still awaiting approval from the platform.

About the Two Point Museum

Two Point Museum is the third management simulator from Two Point Studios, following Two Point Hospital (2018) and Two Point Campus (2022). In this game, you play as a curator who manages a museum—from finding artifacts to display to entertaining visitors through guided tours. The game was released in March 2025 for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, and came to Nintendo Switch 2 in October 2025.

Prior to Rides & Relics, Two Point Museum had already received three paid DLCs: Fantasy Finds, Zooseum, and Arty-Facts. Two Point Studios is a UK-based studio under the SEGA Group that was founded in 2016 by Gary Carr, Mark Webley, and Ben Hymers, who previously worked at Lionhead Studios.
