Riot Games has introduced Hush, VALORANT’s newest Agent, who will be released on October 27, 2026. This Agent from China is a Duelist whose playstyle relies on precision, control, and telekinetic powers.

With abilities like Displacement, Flashbulb, Flow, and Suspension, Hush can reposition himself in mid-air. Hush is also the first Agent to be released since the launch of the new Agent Mastery system.

A duelist with telekinetic powers

Hush uses his telekinetic powers to solve the most classified cases. With a precise and elegant fighting style, he manipulates objects in the air to disrupt formations and shift the opposing team’s positions.

After sending his enemies flying helplessly, Hush finishes them off. So, Hush isn’t just a Duelist who relies on aim—he also relies on precise control over his utility and movement.

List of Hush's Abilities

Here are Hush’s abilities, based on the fact sheet from Riot Games:

  • Telekinesis (Passive): Hush can pick up weapons, Spike, and interact with switches from a greater distance.
  • Displacement: Throw with FIRE or ready with ALT FIRE. Reactivate to aim it at the crosshair. It explodes on any surface or after a short delay, pulling all players toward the center and inflicting a concussive effect if they collide with a surface or another player. Resets every two kills.
  • Flashbulb: Throw it with FIRE or aim it with ALT FIRE. Reactivate it to aim it at the crosshair. It explodes on any surface or after a few seconds, then causes a flash effect for all players who see it.
  • Flow: Instantly creates an anchor. If Hush is in the air, he hovers in place for a moment. After a few moments, Hush glides toward the anchor.
  • Suspension: Instantly deploy the Suspension. Press FIRE to launch it forward and aim with the crosshairs. Reactivate it or press FIRE again to detonate it, causing all players to float.

Hush's Design, According to the Developer

Nicholas Smith, Game Designer for Agents & Weapons at Riot Games, explained the reasoning behind Hush’s design. “With Hush, we wanted to explore what a Duelist who prioritizes precision and control in their gameplay would look like. ”Telekinesis is an interesting concept to delve into because it doesn’t just rely on raw power, but on how players manipulate various objects around them,’ he said.”.

According to Smith, his inspiration came from the question of how telekinesis could be mechanically implemented in VALORANT. The recurring idea was that Hush wouldn’t just throw utilities, but also manipulate them. From there came Displacement and Flashbulb—which can be redirected mid-air—as well as Flow, which allows Hush to manipulate his own movement.

Control remains in the player's hands

Smith also highlighted what sets Hush apart from other agents. “One of the key differences is the amount of control the player still has after using an ability. With Hush, decision-making doesn’t end simply by deploying a utility,” he said.

Players can change the direction of the utility and adapt its use to the situation. Combined with his high mobility, there’s plenty of room to play Hush in your own style.

He was also curious to see the players“ creativity. ”We’ve already designed and tested several usage scenarios, but VALORANT players always manage to discover perspectives and interactions we never could have anticipated,” he said.
