SEGA and Sports Interactive have released the latest details from the Football Manager 27 (FM27) deep dive feature series. This time, the spotlight is on the Manager Creator, Newgens, and accessibility options.
FM27 will be released on November 11, 2026, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PC (Steam, Epic, and Windows), Mac, and Netflix. The physical version will follow on November 20, 2026.

Manager Creator with a wider variety of display options
In FM27's Manager Creator, you'll find a wider variety of body types and additional ethnic options. The facial and skin features have also been updated.
Facial hair has also been improved. The enhanced hair physics previously showcased in the Match Day Experience deep dive are also featured here, making your manager character feel more lifelike.
Hats, scarves, and the color picker are back
Self-expression also comes through the clothes you wear. In FM27, hats are part of a manager’s wardrobe. Here are some new and updated items:
- Wool hats and baseball caps
- A new combination of a shirt and a sweater
- Scarves and gloves as new accessories
- Various other updated clothing items
The color picker is back, so you have more freedom to customize the look. In addition, the Favorite Club feature is back. You can select up to four favorite clubs before your career begins.
Wheelchair User Manager
Sports Interactive has also added features related to representation and accessibility. In Manager Creator, you can create a manager who uses a wheelchair.
This selection of electric wheelchairs will appear in all relevant parts of the game, from the start screen to the game day cutscenes. In fact, if you manage to win a prestigious trophy, the podium for raising the trophy has been redesigned to be accessible to everyone.
Newgens with stronger individuality
Newgens—or young players from the gaming generation—have also received improvements. Their skin, coloring, and hair have been refined, and new camera angles and lighting have been added to make the players’ profiles stand out more clearly.
You’ll also see greater variety, both among the up-and-coming stars on your club and those on rival teams. A wider range of facial expressions and positional adjustments makes each player feel distinct. This means that wonderkids who join through the Youth Intake will feel even more unique.
