An original anime themed slice of life that combines the warmth of friendship and culinary delight, Hibi wa Sugiredo Meshi Umashi or Food for the Soul, will premiere on April 12, 2025. The official website has just released the promotional video and key visual that unveiled the lineup of seiyuuproduction staff, as well as the opening song titled "Sonna Mon ne" hosted by asmi.
Stories of Warmth and Culinary in the Life of a College Student
This anime follows the daily lives of five girls who have just entered college. They want to enjoy delicious food, live college life with vigor, and create precious moments with friends. With appetizing visuals and a soothing atmosphere, Food for the Soul It has the potential to be a great watch for lovers of daily life and food-themed anime.

Production Staff
This anime is produced by P.A. Works, a studio known for its Shirobako and The Aquatope on White Sand. Shinya Kawatsura (Non Non Biyori) and Yū Harumi (The Quintessential Quintuplets the Movie) acts as Co-Director. Hajime Mitsuda adapted Character Designs Atto's work for animation and also served as Chief Animation Director.
Series Composition was handled by Yoshihiro Hiki (Akiba Maid War), while Music Composition was entrusted to Hiromi Mizutani (Non Non Biyori). Takeshi Takadera (Oshi no Ko) acts as Sound Director, with Junichi Higashi as Art Director.
