Anime adaptation You and I Are Polar Opposites (Seihantaina Kimi to Boku) has released the first trailer, introducing the main characters as well as revealing the list of staff involved in the production. The announcement of the anime adaptation was made on November 24, the day the original manga officially ended.
A Romance of Two Opposite Personalities
You and I Are Polar Opposites focuses on Suzuki, an energetic girl who always goes with the flow, and Tani, a quiet, outspoken young man. Despite their contrasting traits, the two are drawn to each other, creating a unique dynamic in their relationship.
Starting off as a popular one-shot, this manga serialization caught the attention of many readers for its realistic and relatable love story.

Manga Background and Development
Manga You and I Are Polar Opposites was first published as a one-shot by Agasawa in Shonen Jump Plus in January 2021. Then, the series got a full serialization in May 2022. The manga concluded on November 25, 2024, with a total of eight compilation volumes.
The series managed to gain significant popularity, with over 1.35 million copies in circulation. The manga ranked third in Manga Taisho Awards 16th in 2023 and ranked seventh at the same awards in 2024.
The English adaptation of the manga is available through MANGA Plus since June 2022. Viz Media also released an English version, with the third volume released on November 5, 2024.
