As one of the largest laptop brands in Indonesia, ASUS announces the renewal of its after-sales service standards starting from January 1, 2026. This update is part of ASUS“ dedication to delivering the ”No.1 Quality & Service" standard, in order to improve the consistency of user experience after purchase.

According to Lenny Lin, Country Manager of ASUS Indonesia, After all, the experience after purchase is as important as the quality of the product itself. These warranty and service upgrades are intended to make users feel more secure, comfortable and confident in using devices from ASUS for their needs.

This renewal program applies to all models with OPI 2024 which is activated from January 1, 2026. This program update covers three areas namely: product durability, after-sales protection, and service coverage.

ASUS says that its entire line of laptops is certified MIL-STD 810H (US military test standard) through a series of extreme tests to 26 procedures. The aim is to ensure that the device continues to function under various conditions of use and mobility. Some examples of the tests mentioned are:

  • Shock TestThe laptop was tested for sudden impact tolerance up to 40G, as well as an 18-fall test from a height of 80 cm to check the integrity of the internal components.
  • Vibration TestSimulated vibration of the laptop at a constant 5-500Hz to 1.08G for 60 minutes, to test the durability of the structure and internal connectors during transportation.
  • High Temperaturelaptop storage test up to 71°C to ensure the material chassis does not deform and critical components remain safe.
  • Low Temperaturetesting on laptops was carried out at temperatures of -25°C to -33°C for 7 days to make sure chassis not brittle/cracked. ASUS also mentions that on models with ASUS Lumina OLED, the display remains responsive without the “ghosting” effect common to LCDs in cold temperatures.
  • Altitude Test (altitude)simulation of low air pressure up to 572 hPa (equivalent to 15,000 feet) to ensure that the cooling system and electronic components continue to work normally.

After-sales protection through Warranty Upgrade and ADP Expansion

Starting in 2026, ASUS states that every laptop purchase comes with international warranty and Accidental Damage Protection (ADP) which is also known as ASUS VIP Perfect Warranty. ADP aimed at protection accidental damage, service, such as water spills, broken sails, and other incidents, with a service charge called a "service fee". Rp 0 (subject to program terms and conditions).

The following warranty upgrade details are provided:

  • Zenbook, Vivobook S, Vivobook Flip, and ProArt: Get 3 Years International Warranty and 3 Years ADP from the previous 1 Year ADP.
  • ROG, TUF Gaming, ASUS Gaming, and Vivobook Classic/Go: Get 2 Years International Warranty and 2 Years ADP from the previous 1 Year ADP.
  • Accessories: 1 Year warranty with 100% replacement for functional defects with terms and conditions applied (excluding backpack).

For the line Desktop & All-in-One (AiO), ASUS has a service On-Site Service This is a service where technicians come to the user's location, so that the device does not need to be brought to a service center. Here are the warranty upgrade details of this line:

  • ROG Desktop: 3 Years On-Site Service local + 1 Year ADP.
  • TUF Desktop: 2 Years On-Site Service local + 1 Year ADP.
  • AiO: 2 Years On-Site Service local + 1 Year ADP.

Premium Service for Select Series

In addition to the warranty upgrade, ASUS also mentioned premium (exclusive) services for users of the ROG, Zenbook, and ProArt lines, in the form of:

  • 2-Way Shipping Support Covered by ASUS: Serviceability with delivery support in eligible areas.
  • Laptop Spa (Professional Refresh & Cleaning): Professional cleaning maintenance at ASUS Service Center to keep your laptop in top shape.
  • FastLane Priority Handling: Queue prioritization for faster diagnosis and repair.

ASUS Service Reach in Indonesia and Internationally

For easy access to after-sales service, ASUS mentioned that there are 141 service centers in Indonesia, In addition, ASUS' international warranty is said to cover 113 countries, allowing users to make claims in countries with ASUS authorized branches from Sabang to Merauke.
