Zenless Zone Zero version 1.6 Among the Forgotten Ruins is coming on March 12 with an update that brings Proxies into a high-stakes auction for a mysterious artifact associated with Sacrifice.
Along with that, Anby's true identity begins to be revealed, while Trigger introduces more details about the history of the New Eridu military faction. This update also brings new characters, more challenging Hollow Zero challenges, and new game modes that enrich the experience.
Risky Auctions and the Fight for Mysterious Artifacts
In this update, Proxies will face stiff competition in an exclusive auction involving various powerful groups, including the Mockingbird thieves syndicate. The artifacts up for grabs are closely linked to Sacrifice, making them highly coveted objects for many factions in New Eridu.
Amidst this tension, Hugo and Vivian get closer to the Proxies, creating uncertainty as to whether they are truly allies or have a hidden agenda. In addition, players will gain more insight into Anby's background before he joined the Cunning Hares, as well as understand more about the military faction's role in the city's history.
New Characters and the Return of Old Agents
Soldier 0 - Anby
Anby Demara was previously known as Soldier 0, the former leader of Silver Squad. As an S-Rank Electric Attack Agent, he uses his dual swords to attack with electrical effects that trigger Aftershock, as well as increase the CRIT DMG of allies attacking the same target.
Trigger
Trigger is an S-Rank Electric Stun Agent from Obol Squad who has the ability to attack with high precision using Sniper Mode. He can dodge enemy attacks and strike at the right moment. His attacks gather Purge, which amplifies Aftershock and increases the damage dealt by allies against the same target.
Pulchra Fellini
Pulchra Fellini returns in update 1.6 as the A-Rank Physical Stun Agent from Sons of Calydon.
In addition to the above characters, Burnice (S-Rank Fire Anomaly Agent) and Zhuyuan (S-Rank Ether Attack Agent) will also be available in the new banner.
New Battles and Challenging Gameplay Modes
Update 1.6 introduces the new boss Geppetto in Hollow Zero, bringing more challenging combat with new mechanics. In addition, players can now access Difficulty VI in Battlefront Purge as the newest difficulty level.
Some of the new game modes that will be coming in this update include:
- Shadow Operation - A new mode in Hollow Zero that provides different special effects in each battle stage. One of the unique mechanics is the increase in damage based on the number of coins collected during battle.
- Trigger's TV Schedule - A third-person shooter mode that allows players to carry out missions as a sniper.
- March On, Tiny Titan! - A challenge that turns players into Bangboo, where they must complete a series of unique trials in this mode.
- Little Knight's Big Charge - Players must help Bangboo complete 10 different trials, with the grand prize being the character Pulchra as a playable agent.
