This update brings a lot of new content, ranging from permanent exploration areas, new characters, seasonal events, to various system improvements that make it easier for players. Easybreeze Holiday Resort: Summer Exploration Area
Easybreeze Holiday Resort is one of the main attractions in update 5.8. The new island is located off the west coast of Natlan and offers a cheerful summer atmosphere. Beaches, waves, and fun activities await players. The resort's mascot is named Asha will accompany the adventure, granting special abilities such as gliding on water and short hovers in the air. Exploration becomes more fun thanks to this feature.
Asha is also an expert in spray painting. The vibrant colors produced can be used to solve puzzles and unlock hidden secrets in the resort. Behind the fun of the resort, the mystery of Mare Jivari and an immortal monster called Bakunawa is ready to challenge players who want to test their fighting skills.
Seasonal Events and Exclusive Gifts
Various seasonal events are present in the Sunspray Summer Resort update. "Travels Are Fuller With Friends", "Strikers Through the Storm", music parties, and spray painting with Asha are some of the activities that can be participated in. Sunspray Spirit can be collected during the event. Sunspray Spirit can be exchanged for exclusive prizes such as the 4★ "Flame-Forged Insight" claymore and Bennett's new "Adventures in Blazing Hue" costume.
New Character: Ineffa from Nod-Krai
The debut of a new character named Ineffa is one of the main highlights. Ineffa is a versatile robot from the Nod-Krai region, coming as a 5★ character with Electro elements and a polearm weapon. New elemental reactions, Lunar-Charged, introduced through this character.
Any Electro-Charged reactions that occur while Ineffa is on the team will turn into Lunar-Charged, creating a Thundercloud that provides continuous Electro DMG as well as a CRIT Hit chance. The assist unit "Birgitta" can also be summoned to automatically attack enemies.
The character banners in this update also feature Citlali, Mualani, and Chasca reruns. A new costume for Yelan, "Tranquil Banquet", is available at a discounted price during the event.
System Upgrades and New Features
Various system improvements are presented by HoYoverse in this update. Cloud-based video tutorials are now available in the Trial and Talent screens for new characters, allowing players to more easily understand character mechanics. The "Navigate" feature makes quest time management easier, as the in-game time will automatically adjust to the needs of the quest. Material tracking has also become more efficient, making it faster to find specific materials in each region.
