Identity V will present a crossover event with anime Frieren: Beyond Journey's End starting August 7, 2025. This collaboration features exclusive content such as character costumes, bonus items, and limited rewards that are only available during the event.
Identity V x Frieren Collaboration Content: Costumes and In-Game Rewards
In this event, the characters of Frieren: Beyond Journey's End presented in the form of costumes for the characters in the game. Some of them are Frieren, Fern, Stark, and Himmel.
The main content available includes:
- Crossover Costume "Knight" (Himmel): Provided through premium packs containing S rank costumes and accessories Hero's Blade.
- Crossover Costume "Psychologist" (Fern).
- Crossover Costume "Meteorologist" (Frieren).
- Explorer Costume "Sein" and Grimoire accessories: Free gifts for participants. The Sein costume is for A-ranked Explorer characters, while the Grimoire is an accessory for Meteorologist characters.
All players who participate in this event can earn Crossover Essence ×10 and other exclusive items for free.
Identity V at Anime Expo 2025
As part of the collaboration promotion, the game will appear at Anime Expo 2025 through a special booth supported by Frontier Works. The location is in the animate GROUP area with the code SH-504.
This booth will feature:
- Illustration of a large-scale wall.
- An exhibition of Frontier Works' collaborative artworks over the past five years.
- Fan voting campaign with prizes of A4 art prints, while stocks last.
The official products of this partnership will also be sold for the first time in the United States. The three lines that will be available include:
- Dark×POP
- Art Collection
- Fantasy
Two types skateboard deck Limited editions were also announced, namely Deck A and Deck B, with international pre-orders open until July 28, 2025.
About Identity V
It is a multiplayer survival horror game developed by NetEase Games and released in 2018. In its main mode, one player takes on the role of hunter, while the other four became survivor who must complete cipher machine to escape the arena.
Gothic visuals, dark atmospheres, and various cross-media collaborations have characterized the game since its inception.
About Frieren: Beyond Journey's End
Frieren: Beyond Journey's End is an anime adaptation of the manga by Kanehito Yamada published since April 2020 in the magazine Weekly Shonen Sunday courtesy of Shogakukan. The story follows the journey of Frieren, an elven wizard, after defeating the demon king with the heroes.
The second season of the anime is currently in production and is scheduled to air in January 2026.
Collaboration between Identity V and Frieren: Beyond Journey's End will take place from August 7, 2025. All content and rewards are only available during the event period, so players are advised to join the event before it ends.
