TV anime adaptation of comedy horror manga Let's Go Kaikigumi has been officially announced. This information was released through the opening of a new website that also features the first teaser promotional video for the anime. Anime is scheduled to premiere in 2026.
Let's Go Kaikigumi Story and Premiere Teaser
Along with the announcement, a promotional teaser has been released to give an early look at the anime. Story Let's Go Kaikigumi centers on a timid protagonist. One day, he meets Mechako, the leader of the "Kaikigumi" organization in charge of managing ghosts and supernatural beings that frighten humans.
Through a series of events, the protagonist eventually participates in reviving the Kaikigumi organization. From then on, various strange and supernatural phenomena begin to occur around him. However, these phenomena are portrayed as quirky and funny rather than scary, which is the core of the series' comedy.
