Publisher Apogee Entertainment and developer HyperMegaPixel announced that Littlelands will be available in Early Access for PC via Steam. Littlelands is an adventure- and farming-themed life simulation game with a cozy atmosphere.
Based on information from Gematsu, the latest demo for Littlelands is also available now. This demo is part of Steam Next Fest: October 2026 Edition.
New demo featuring feedback from the community
Littlelands’ first public demo received a positive response. As a result, this new demo was developed incorporating various suggestions from the community. It features new character customization options, an improved combat system, a minimap, and various other quality-of-life features.
Developer Rafael Martin hopes everyone will enjoy a cozy adventure in this smoother, more customizable demo. He also said he can’t wait to see the cool characters players create with new hairstyles, outfits, and hats.
A small world full of adventure
Littlelands features a charming world filled with adorable characters. The landscape is colorful, with a claymation-style visual aesthetic, and teeming with lush greenery. You can go about your daily life in Littlelands at your own pace.
You can explore mysterious corners and help the unique residents. You can also pick berries, hunt for treasure, go fishing, or just sit on a wooden bench and enjoy the sunset.
The story begins with a simple task: fixing a computer. However, this task turns into a once-in-a-lifetime journey through hills, valleys, caves, forests, deserts, and many other places. Don’t forget to bring your trusty shovel.
The Littlelands demo lasts about two hours. It features character customization, six unique areas, several shops, twenty NPCs, various unlockable tools, and seven types of enemies.

Updates to the Steam Next Fest demo
- Better combat – You can lock onto enemies, circle around targets, and dodge attacks with a smoother, more responsive system.
- More character customization options – There are new hairstyles, eye styles, facial makeup, clothing, hats, and other customization options.
- New minimap – The minimap requested by the community is now available to make navigation easier.
- More comfortable controls – The default controls have been updated, and you can remap the buttons for both the gamepad and the mouse and keyboard.
- Automatic camera rotation – Mouse and keyboard players can enable automatic camera rotation.
- Focus Glow – Optional visual effects to highlight objects that can be picked up or used.
- Frame rate limit – You can now select a frame rate limit in the graphics settings.
- English and Spanish – Littlelands can be played in English or Spanish.
