Latest trailer My Dress-Up Darling season 2 has been released ahead of its airing in July 2025. This short trailer shows the continuation of Marin and Gojo's story, as well as the new opening song that will be used in the season.

My Dress-Up Darling season 2 continues the story of Wakana Gojo and Marin Kitagawa as they become more active in the cosplay world. After some shared experiences in the previous season, Marin has more characters she wants to cosplay, while Gojo begins to tackle more complex costume-making challenges.

In this season, they will meet new friends and explore the wider cosplay community. Their journey also brings new dynamics to their personal relationship, including a slowly developing change in feelings.

The latest trailer features a snippet of the opening song titled "Ao to Kirameki" sung by Spira Spica. The song arrangements used support the cheerful atmosphere that is one of the series' trademarks. In addition, some new characters are also seen in the trailer, giving an idea that the story will encompass more than just the interaction of the two main characters.

About My Dress-Up Darling

My Dress-Up Darling adapted from the manga by Shinichi Fukuda, which was serialized in the magazine Young Gangan owned by Square Enix. The first season aired in January 2022 and attracted attention through its incorporation of traditional Japanese crafts and cosplay culture.

The story follows Wakana Gojo, a high school student who specializes in making Hina dolls. He lives in a small circle until he meets Marin Kitagawa, a popular student with a passion for cosplay.
