NetEase Games has just announced a big surprise at Tokyo Game Show 2025: their survival game, Once Humanwill collaborate with Palworld, a phenomenal game from Pocketpair. This collaboration will bring the adorable "Pals" into the world of Once Human which is full of mystery, along with a series of other major content updates ready to roll out.
When Two Worlds Meet
This major collaboration is scheduled for release on October 30. There will be an exclusive island designed specifically for this event, incorporating signature elements from Once Human and Palworld. You can meet popular Pals like Cattiva and Chillet in this new environment. Not only that, there will be an exciting new gameplay mechanic where players can use special items to transform into Pals. This provides a new way to explore the game world. All Pals content in this collaboration can be obtained for free, plus various limited edition cosmetic items.
Not Just a Crossover, There's a New Scenario
Along with collaboration, Once Human also launched a new screenplay titled "Deviation: Survive, Capture, Preserve." In addition, there are two major events ready to challenge players. The first is "Lunar Revelry," an event with a unique mechanic where an enemy called the Lord of Moonlight can steal your character's identity. You must hunt down your character's clone to regain your identity and valuable rewards. The second is "Trial of Misfortune," a global-scale co-op event starting on September 29, where players from around the world must work together to defeat the Lord of Moonlight.
Live at Tokyo Game Show
For those of you in Japan, Once Human is also opening a booth at Tokyo Game Show 2025 from September 25 to 28. Visitors can experience the atmosphere of the game, take pictures with cosplayers wearing costumes from the game, and participate in various activities to get exclusive merchandise.
