- Launch Date: Assassin's Creed® Shadows will be released globally on November 15, 2024.
- Platform: Available on Ubisoft+, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Amazon Luna, Mac with Apple silicon via Mac App Store, and Windows PC via Ubisoft Store and Epic Games Store.
- Early Access: Players who subscribe to Ubisoft+ or purchase the Ultimate Edition can play the game three days earlier, on November 12, 2024.
- Assassin's Creed® Shadows Short Story: Led by Ubisoft Québec, the game is set in 16th century Japan, following the journey of Naoe, a shinobi from Iga Province, and Yasuke, a legendary samurai.
- Gameplay Features: Players can choose a play style between stealth using the character Naoe or a brutal combat style using the character Yasuke. Each character has their own progression, skills, and weapon options. This game offers open world map with a wide variety of dynamic landscapes according to the weather and seasons.
- Exploration Mechanism: Players can build a network of spies to uncover new areas and hunt down targets, recruit allies with special skills, and customize their hideouts.
- Game Edition:
- Gold Edition: Basic game, Season Pass (with bonus quests and two upcoming expansions), and three-day early access.
- Ultimate Edition: Basic game, Season Pass, Ultimate Pack (with Sekiryu character pack, Sekiryu pack, 5 skill points, and red and black photo filters), and three-day early access.
- Collector's Edition: All content from the Ultimate Edition, plus physical content such as Steelbook, world map, Naoe & Yasuke figurines, life-size Katana Tsuba, Creed wall scroll, 84-page collector's art book, and two sumi-e lithographs.
- Pre-order Bonus: Orderers of Assassin's Creed Shadows will get additional quests for each edition ordered.
- Gameplay Trailer: The first gameplay trailer will be released in June.
