This year ASUS focuses on being the first AI mover through various AI-based product innovations in its various lines. This commitment is proven by the presence of two new devices in the ASUS Zenbook line, namely ASUS Zenbook S16 OLED (UM5606GA) and ASUS Zenbook 14 OLED (UM3406GA). These two laptops are here for users who need a portable laptop with AI support for daily activities, productivity, and creative needs.
Both come with processor who has NPU up to 50 TOPS to support all activities that require AI. In addition to the new processors, both are now also equipped with OLED panel to deliver beautiful images and more accurate colors. Even with the new processors and display panels, both laptops still have a light and thin profile that comes with a sizable battery.
ASUS Zenbook S16 OLED (UM5606GA)
Zenbook S16 OLED (UM5606GA) positioned as a large-screen option with a thin, thick body 1.1cm and weight 1.5kg. ASUS says this laptop uses Ceraluminum, a strong material that combines ceramic and aluminum. This announced variant uses the AMD Ryzen AI 9 465 NPU up to 50TOPS, 32GB LPDDR5X RAM, and 1TB PCIe 4.0 SSD.
In terms of appearance, this device has a screen 16-inch 3K OLED touchscreen with 16:10 ratio and 120Hz refresh rate. This OLED display is equipped with ASUS Lumina Pro OLED which is called supporting brightness up to 1,100 nits. All of this is also supported by audio that has 6 speakers.
ASUS Zenbook 14 OLED (UM3406GA)
Zenbook 14 OLED (UM3406GA) positioned as a lightweight laptop with 1.2kg weight which is powered by a large battery 75Wh that can last up to 20h. This variant comes with a processor AMD Ryzen™ AI 7 445 NPU up to 50 TOPS, 16GB LPDDR5X RAM, and 1TB PCIe 4.0 SSD.
For visuals, this device uses a display 14-inch WUXGA OLED with 16:10 ratio and 60Hz refresh rate. This screen is also equipped with ASUS Lumina OLED.
