In terms of performance, the Z Fold 5 carries Samsung's dedicated Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, which is the latest flagship in the Galaxy S23 series. RAM and storage options available on the Galaxy Z Fold 5 range from 12/256 GB, 12/512 GB to 12/1 TB.
Not to forget, the camera features on the Z Fold 5 remain a highlight. There are three rear cameras, with a 50 MP main camera, a 10 MP telephoto camera and a 12 MP ultra wide camera. The selfie camera? Just as interesting as its predecessor, with a resolution of 4 MP on the inner screen and 10 MP on the front screen.
With a 4,400mAh battery capacity, the Z Fold 5 promises fast charging-just 30 minutes to reach 50%. The phone runs Android 13 with OneUI 5.1.1 interface and supports 5G connectivity, Wi-Fi 6E, and Bluetooth 5.3. Samsung Z Flip5 Specifications
The Galaxy Z Flip 5's secondary display is now larger, increasing from 1.9 inches on the Z Flip 4 to 3.4 inches. Using a Super AMOLED panel, the secondary screen has a refresh rate of 60 Hz with a resolution of 720 x 748 pixels. Meanwhile, the main screen, measuring 6.7 inches with Dynamic AMOLED 2X technology, offers Full HD Plus resolution and a stunning refresh rate of 120 Hz.
Not only the screen, the Galaxy Z Flip 5 also brings innovation to its hinge design. The new construction allows the phone to be thinner, more compact, and perfectly closed without spacing, unlike its predecessor.
In the photography sector, the Z Flip 5 relies on a 12 MP ultra wide camera and a 12 MP standard camera with OIS. Meanwhile, for selfie purposes, there is a 10 MP resolution camera neatly placed in the screen hole.
Although the camera has the same resolution as its predecessor, Samsung insists that the photography results of the Z Flip 5 are superior. In the kitchen, the phone is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 for Galaxy, which is also the brain of the Galaxy S23 Ultra. With a combination of 8 GB RAM and 256/512 GB storage options, the performance is definitely satisfactory.
