Complete music collection from the series The Ancient Magus' Bride is coming soon for fans. A best-of compilation album that encapsulates the entire musical journey of the anime series and its games will be released, recreating every emotional moment through familiar melodies.
The Ancient Magus' Bride Complete Best Album
FlyingDog Inc. officially announced the release of the album titled The Ancient Magus' Bride Complete Best, which is scheduled to be released on November 26, 2025. The album is designed as a definitive collection that brings together theme songs, cover songs, and insert songs (insert song) that have graced the journey of Chise Hatori and Elias Ainsworth.
One of the things that makes this release special is the album cover. Both for the first edition (First edition) as well as the standard edition (standard edition), both will feature exclusive illustrations drawn directly by mangaka Koré Yamazaki, giving a personal touch from the creator.
Album Details
The album is organized in a multi-disc format to present a comprehensive listening experience. The first disk will contain all the main theme songs from both seasons of the anime, including JUNNA's "Here", "Cycle", and May'n's "You". The second disk focuses on popular insert songs such as "Iruna Eteluro" and "Dance of the Spirit". Some songs, namely "Quiet Choir" and "Holiday", will be recorded in CD format for the first time. Theme song of the game The Ancient Magus' Bride: Seika no Maboroshi to Yume Miru Tabiji"Sagashimono" is also included.
The first edition will include a third bonus disk containing 15 tracks of background music (score) a selection curated by pianist Junichi Matsumoto. Ahead of the release, the key figures behind the project offered their comments.
Atsumi Tanezaki (Chise's voice actor) revealed, "The song 'Here' from JUNNA really touched my heart because it took me back to where everything started. I even still remember humming 'Hana Kazoe' like a lullaby during the recording session."
youta Takeuchi (voice of Elias) highlighted a specific scene, "The scene that stands out the most to me is from the first season episode 12... That scene without dialogue became very touching and beautiful, consisting only of the theme song 'Here' and the visuals."
JUNNA, who sang some of the theme songs, said, "My first single as a singer was 'Here,' so it was a great experience. The Ancient Magus' Bride is a work that allows me to grow with it."
Lastly, Junichi Matsumoto commented, "Everything came back-scenes, colors, atmospheres, sounds. I'm happy to be able to experience it again through music. I hope you enjoy this short journey."

About The Ancient Magus' Bride
The Ancient Magus' Bride is a popular dark fantasy manga series by Koré Yamazaki that has sold over 12 million copies worldwide. The story centers on Chise Hatori, an orphaned girl from Japan who loses hope and sells herself at an auction in the wizarding world. She is bought by Elias Ainsworth, a tall non-human wizard with a skull for a head.
Instead of becoming a slave, Chise is taken to the English countryside to become Elias' apprentice and bride-to-be. There, she begins to learn about a magical world full of magic and danger, while slowly rediscovering the meaning of family and her self-worth.
The success of this manga has spawned various multimedia projects. The anime adaptation began with a three-part prequel OVA series titled The Ancient Magus' Bride: Those Awaiting a Star.
