Anime The Dark History of the Reincarnated Villainess released a new trailer featuring a snippet of the official Theme Song and announced the premiere date. The adaptation of Akiharu Toka's manga is scheduled to air on October 8.
Story and Trailer
The latest trailer introduces two Theme Songs. The opening song titled "Black Flame" is performed by EXILE TRIBE's KID PHENOMENON, while the closing song titled "Regen" is sung by Zerofrom.
The story focuses on Konoha Sato, a former teenage writer who is reincarnated as the villainess of a fantasy-romance story she once wrote herself. In order to avoid a tragic ending, she must remember all the details of the plot and the death flag that he created. The situation changes when Yomi, a character he never created, appears from Lily Kingdom and claims to be an ally.

Akiharu Tōka's The Dark History of the Reincarnated Villainess (Tensei Akujo no Kuro Rekishi) adapted from a manga that began serializing in shoujo magazines LaLa on August 2018. The English version is licensed by Yen Press.
The story blends elements of fantasy and romance, with the main character trying to avoid the ending she wrote herself.
The anime will air in Fall 2025, with the first episode set to release on October 8.
