Akira Ozaki's manga, Uchi no Otouto-domo ga Sumimasen, is set to get an adaptation anime television. An official announcement from the production staff mentioned that the series is scheduled to air in 2026.
The news comes alongside the launch of a teaser promotional video and key visuals on Saturday. This project is the next big step for the franchise after its success in print and on the big screen.
Story and Trailer of Uchi no Otouto-domo ga Sumimasen
The story in this series centers on a high school student named Ito Hazui. His life takes a drastic turn during Spring break at the end of his junior year of high school. Ito's mother decides to remarry, which forces Ito to move in with his new family and change his name to Ito Narita.
The surprises continue when Ito arrives at his new home and learns that he now has four half-brothers. Ito tries hard to adapt and get along with all of his new family members, but the eldest brother, Gen Narita, is rather cold to him. Although Gen is often seen keeping his distance, underneath his aloof demeanor, he occasionally shows kindness to Ito.
