Kuro Games announces major update for open-world action RPG game Wuthering Waves through version 2.5 titled "Unfading Melody of Life" which will be released on July 24, 2025. This update brings a lot of new content, exciting features, and various optimizations that improve the gaming experience of players around the world.
New Story Content and Locations
New main quests come through Chapter II Act VII: Dreamcatchers in the Secret Gardens and Overture: Rust, Sword and the Sun. These new stories take players on a deeper exploration of mystery and adventure in the world of Wuthering Waves. A new location called Fabricatorium of the Deep is also available, offering a challenging and secretive exploration area.
New Echoes and Resonators
Some new Echoes like Reminiscence: Fenrico, Nightmare: Hecate, Nightmare: Tambourinist, Nightmare: Galcio Predator, and Nightmare: Havoc Warrior are ready to add variety to the gameplay. The new Phantom Echo, Nightmare Inferno Rider, also provides unique challenges for players.

The Echo Management system now allows players to set auto-lock or auto-discard based on quality, COST, Sonata Effects, and Mainstats. The Sync Tuning feature in Echo Upgrade makes it easy to tune and upgrade automatically. The number of team presets increases to 10 slots, allowing players to experiment with various team compositions. The option to enable or disable skill music on specific Resonators is also available, providing a more personalized audio experience.
