- The Yu-Gi-Oh! World Championship 2024 event will be held in Seattle, United States on September 7-8.
- For the first time, WCS 2024 will introduce four different tournament categories, namely: Yu-Gi-Oh! TRADING CARD GAME (OCG/TCG), Yu-Gi-Oh! MASTER DUEL, as well as two different formats for Yu-Gi-Oh! DUEL LINKS.
- The first format for Yu-Gi-Oh! DUEL LINKS is the SPEED DUEL, which has been made famous through previous WCS events.
- Meanwhile, a new addition is RUSH DUEL, a gameplay format that was just introduced in September 2023.
