A new adventure in the world of Atelier will begin soon. Atelier Resleriana: The Red Alchemist & the White Guardian, which was developed by Gust and published by Koei Tecmo, is scheduled to release on September 26, 2025 for PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam.
With an expanded combat system, dynamic exploration, and new crafting mechanics, the game delivers original content that connects with classic characters from the previous series.
Adventures at Atelier Resleriana with Rias and Slade
Inside story Atelier Resleriana centered on two characters: Rias Eidreise and Slade Clauslyter. The two return to the town of Hallfein, which once thrived on trade and mining, but is now a restricted zone after most of its inhabitants disappeared due to an unrevealed tragedy.
Rias wants to revive her grandfather's shop, while Slade investigates the legacy of his father. They embark on a journey to find out the cause of the disappearance and restore their hometown.
Gameplay System in Atelier Resleriana
Atelier Resleriana: The Red Alchemist & the White Guardian takes place on the continent of Lantarna, a region also introduced in the Atelier Resleriana: Forgotten Alchemy and the Polar Night Liberator.
The exploration system uses a live view, complete with time changes (day and night) and varying weather conditions. Players can freely explore the area and enter Dimensional PathsA multi-tiered dungeon whose layout changes with each entry.
The combat system uses timeline command battleIt's a formation that divides the formation into three characters in the front row and three in the back. Players can use Action Points to manage your turn and trigger attack combinations. Features like Multi-actions, Item Mix, and Link Attacks provides variety in battle strategies.
Crafting is done through a system Gift Color Synthesis. Each ingredient has a specific color that can be connected to produce items. Players can add up to three additional ingredients to inherit trait certain. Supporting characters can help the synthesis process to optimize item results.
Key Features Beyond Combat
In addition to the core gameplay, Atelier Resleriana also provides a range of additional features that expand the gaming experience. These features include:
- Town Development: Players can manage Rias' shop and sell crafting items. Earnings can be invested to rebuild the city of Hallfein.
- Unlockable Recipes & Story Progression: City development will unlock new recipes as well as continue the main storyline.
- Guest Character Recruitment System: Characters from previous series can be recruited to strengthen the team.
- Official Voiceover: Rias is voiced by Hina Tachibana, and Slade by Toki Shunichi.

Some characters from the title Atelier will reappear in the previous Atelier Resleriana and can be recruited as team members.

Initial Purchase Bonus and Platform Availability
Atelier Resleriana will be available for PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam. The PlayStation 4 version was only released in Japan.
Players who purchase the game in the first two weeks, both physical and digital versions, will receive a bonus "Activewear Adventuring Set" for Rias and Slade, as well as an "Adventuring Charm Set."
