Square Enix, in collaboration with NHN PLAYART, has announced their latest mobile game project, Dissidia Duellum Final Fantasy. Game is scheduled for release on iOS and Android platforms, bringing intense team battles to the mobile devices of fans around the world.
Early Details on Dissidia Duellum Final Fantasy
Dissidia Duellum Final Fantasy is planned to launch in 2026. The game will adopt a business model free-to-play which is supported by in-app purchases. The project is led by Tetsuya Nomura as creative producer who also designed the characters together with Miki Yamashita.
Unique Story Setting
The game's story is set in the city of Tokyo, where giant blue-lit crystals appear and become part of everyday life. However, the peace ends when a mysterious, evil energy contaminates the crystal, causing strange monsters to appear.
In the midst of despair, armed heroes appeared to fight back. Because they hide their identities and disappear quickly after fighting, people start calling them 'ghosts'. The game will also include features full Japanese voice-acting.

Gameplay
