WEBTOON Entertainment Inc. and Warner Bros. Animation have officially announced plans for a strategic partnership. The two intend to enter into a co-production agreement (co-production) to adapt 10 popular titles from the WEBTOON platform into an animated series format that will be distributed globally.
This collaboration is a very significant expansion step for WEBTOON in expanding the reach of their intellectual property (IP) into the realm of animation. Project The selected titles will come from various titles on the WEBTOON platform, both Korean and English. The development process will be directly supported by WEBTOON Productions' internal team based in the United States as well as their IP division in Japan. Lineup of Early Titles to be Adapted
From 10 project planned, the two companies have announced the first four titles that will enter the production kitchen.
