DreadOut Remastered Collection is coming to Xbox One on January 14, 2026. This collection includes two titles in one package, namely DreadOut and DreadOut: Keepers of the Dark.

DreadOut story and gameplay
DreadOut features a third-person supernatural horror format. Players portray Linda, a high school student trapped in an old abandoned town. Here, smartphones and SLR cameras are used to deal with threats, solve puzzles, and drive the storyline towards the fateful point of the main character.
DreadOut: Keepers of the Dark is set as an additional part of the same universe. The story deals with the events when Linda enters the Mirror Realm, a space that acts as a link to several haunted areas. The official description mentions eight dominions and more than 13 ghosts that pose the main threat, with the path the player chooses affecting the final outcome.

Before it was announced for Xbox One, DreadOut Remastered Collection was released on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and Switch on January 16, 2025, followed by PC via Steam on May 14, 2025. The Xbox One release in January 2026 places this collection as an additional option for players still active on that generation of consoles, especially for the horror genre which does have a consistent fan base.
