STARSEEKER: Astronaut Expeditions, the latest multiplayer game in the series ASTRONEER, will enter Early Access on June 11, 2026 with price $29.99. Quoted from Gematsu, publisher Devolver Digital and developer System Era Softworks also announced a public playtest that starts at June 4 for all platforms.
About STARSEEKER
STARSEEKER: Astronaut Expeditions is a space exploration-based adventure game designed to be played in multiplayer. Players join forces on the ESS Starseeker space station to explore different worlds, complete missions, collect technology and face alien threats.
The space station serves as a persistent base where players plan expeditions and upgrade their equipment. Although designed for teamwork, the game also supports a solo mode so that all actions still contribute to the common goal.
Public Playtest and Early Access

- June 4: Public playtest begins on PC, Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S
- June 11: Early Access officially launched at $29.99
- Progress from the playtest will carry over to the full game version
This is an opportunity for players to try the game early before the Early Access version is officially available. System Era Softworks has also prepared a roadmap of post-launch updates that will gradually expand the game world, mechanics, and multiplayer features.
