Glasses with a Risk of Delinquency has officially been adapted into a TV anime. The announcement was accompanied by the first two teaser visuals and a list of the main production staff. The series is scheduled to air in 2027.
Momose and Ichikura, Former Delinquents Who Turned Their Lives Around
Glasses with a Risk of Delinquency The story follows Momose, a high school student who wants a peaceful high school life free from trouble with delinquents or troublemakers. Her life changes after she meets Ichikura, a black-haired, bespectacled student who looks like your average nice guy.
However, it turns out that Ichikura had a past as a rather feared troublemaker during junior high school. He keeps assuring Momose that he’s changed, even though his old habit of getting into fights easily still lingers. This story raises the question of whether Ichikura has truly changed, and whether Momose will continue to keep Ichikura’s chaotic past a secret.
Two teaser images were released to introduce the cast of characters in this adaptation. The first image features the main duo, Momose and Ichikura.
Meanwhile, the second visual brings the two of them together with the other supporting characters: Igarashi, Sakyo, Yachiyo, and Yataro.
Production and Animation Studio Staff
Makoto Hoshino has been tapped to direct the adaptation Glasses with a Risk of Delinquency. Megumi Shimizu is responsible for the screenplay, while Ruriko Watanabe serves as the character designer.
The animation is being produced jointly by two studios: Studio flad and Wao World. Further details regarding the cast and the exact premiere date will be announced closer to the series’ premiere.
